Chicken & Rice Guys Food Trucks Return to the Road

Earlier this year, a local group of food trucks and brick-and-mortar restaurants shut down after several cases of E. coli were reported, though the restaurants soon reopened while the trucks remained off the road. Now we have learned that the trucks are back in business.

According to an article from Eater Boston, the Chicken & Rice Guys are up and running once again, approximately a half year after being shut down along with their restaurants in downtown Boston, Allston, and Medford, which reopened in late April (a couple of weeks after the outbreak). The post mentions that new cleanliness protections are now in place for the trucks, including the use of antibacterial lights that show any possible surface contamination.

EB says that the Chicken & Rice Guys trucks are in Boston and Burlington starting this week.
