Nunzio's Pizzeria in Downtown Boston Is Closing

A pizza spot in the heart of Boston is going to be shutting its doors for good.

According to a Twitter post from @mariebmorris, Nunzio's Pizzeria on State Street is closing October 31, with a note out front thanking its customers for their patronage over the years. A message from the place confirms that it will indeed be shutting down at the end of the month, though it is not known exactly why the place is closing.

Nunzio's is known in part for its specialty pizzas along with its breakfast dishes and soups, salads, and sandwiches. The dining spot first opened approximately 10 years ago.
