Fuku to Open in Boston's Seaport District

by Marc Hurwitz

A celebrity chef, restaurateur, and James Beard award winner is bringing a casual chicken joint to the Boston waterfront.

According to an article from Eater Boston, David Chang is planning on opening a location of Fuku in the city's Seaport District, with a page within the bostonseaport.xyz website indicating that it is indeed coming to Northern Avenue in the One Seaport complex. Once it opens, expect to see fried chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, fries, slushies, and perhaps desserts from Milk Bar, which is also opening a location in Cambridge's Harvard Square.

David Chang is known for such dining spots as Noodle Bar, Má Pêche, Daishō, Shōtō, Nishi, Ssäm Bar, Ko, Seiōbo, Nikai, and Ando along with Fuku and Milk Bar. (He is also behind Netflix's "Ugly Delicious.")

The address for the upcoming Fuku is 43 Northern Avenue, Boston, MA, 02210. The website for Fuku can be found at https://eatfuku.com/

[October 17 update: The Boston Globe mentions that Fuku opens in Boston's Seaport District this Saturday.]
