Bonefish Grill in Waltham Has Closed

by Marc Hurwitz

Yet another restaurant chain has disappeared from the local landscape.

According to a source, Bonefish Grill in Waltham has shut its doors, with the 3rd Avenue eatery being the last location not just in the Greater Boston area, but in all of New England. Other locations of the Florida-based seafood chain had been in Burlington and Westwood, but both of them closed in early 2017 while a couple of other outlets in Connecticut and one in Rhode Island shuttered over the past couple of years as well.

The Waltham location of Bonefish Grill first opened in the fall of 2015.

A number of national chains have left the Boston area over the past few years, including Macaroni Grill, Noodles and Company, Rainforest Cafe, Saladworks, Denny's, Bugaboo Creek, and Old Country Buffet.

The address for this now-closed seafood restaurant in Waltham was: Bonefish Grill, 99 3rd Avenue, Waltham, MA, 02451. The website for the chain can be found at http://www.bonefishgrill.com/
