A burger chain with roots overseas is opening its first location in Massachusetts, and it will reside in a northern suburb of Boston.

According to an article in the Patch, Burgerim is planning to open a shop in Burlington (note--it will be opening at the Middlesex Marketplace, not at the Burlington Mall, as the Patch initially reported), with the eatery offering "miniburgers" that are a bit larger than the typical slider and can be ordered in packs of two or three, or a party pack of 16. (Burger options include beef, turkey, chicken, salmon, lamb, veggie, and more.) Currently, the only location of Burgerim in New England is in Brookfield, CT, though three other locations are slated to open in Connecticut as well as two in New Hampshire.

The Patch says that Donna Tuchner initially established the Burgerim chain in Israel, though she has since sold the chain to an investor and its headquarters are now in California.

The address for this new burger spot in Burlington is: Burgerim, 90 Middlesex Turnpike, Burlington, MA, 01803. The website for Burgerim can be found at https://www.burgerim.com/

[January 8, 2020 update: Based on a Google search for the place, it looks like Burgerim could finally open in Burlington on January 15, though this has not been confirmed as of yet. (Thanks to a source for this.)]
