Rice Burg Is Opening a Brick-and-Mortar Restaurant In Wellesley

by Marc Hurwitz

The people behind a food truck that serves burgers stuffed into rice buns will be opening a brick-and-mortar location in the western suburbs of Boston.

According to an article from The Swellesley Report, Rice Burg is opening a permanent restaurant in the old Yogurtology space on Washington Street in Wellesley, with the dining spot offering burgers placed between two flattened and grilled "buns" of sticky rice, along with other options such as salads, rice bowls, and more. If all goes as planned, the new eatery could be opening as early as late February.

The Rice Burg food truck first started out in 2015.

The address for this new restaurant in Wellesley is: Rice Burg, 552 Washington Street, Wellesley, MA, 02482.
