Cracking Crab in Framingham Has Closed

by Marc Hurwitz

It looks like one of the many Cajun seafood restaurants to come to the Greater Boston area of late has shut down.

According to a source, Cracking Crab in Framingham is no longer in business, with a phone call placed to the Route 9 eatery confirming this, as the phone is no longer in service--and an earlier Framingham Source article also reports that it has closed. Cracking Crab first opened last summer, offering such items as crab legs, crawfish, fried oysters, quail eggs, shrimp, po'boys, and more, with the seafood being served without any utensils.

The address for this now-closed Cajun seafood restaurant in Framingham was: Cracking Crab, 290 Worcester Road (Route 9), Framingham, MA, 01702.
