Cafe 57 and Grille Opens in Brighton

The Brighton neighborhood of Boston is now home to a European-style cafe. Cafe 57 and Grille recently opened on Henshaw Street near Brighton Center (and across the street from St. Elizabeth's Medical Center), bringing to the neighborhood a dining spot that focuses on fresh dishes made with local ingredients. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner six days a week (closed Sundays) and features a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches (including breakfast sandwiches), paninis, char-grilled entrees, desserts, and coffees. The cuisine at Cafe 57 and Grille leans toward Greek and Mediterranean fare, with such dishes as Greek yogurt and honey, chicken lemon soup, and souvlaki bites included on the menu.
