It looks like a new eatery featuring frozen treats and fruity drinks is going to be opening in Allston.
A note from one of our "spotters" on the Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook page indicates that Bubble Berry will be coming to Cambridge Street, taking over part of the now-closed El Cafetal/El Chalan restaurant (the other section of the space may become home to the Lone Star Taco Bar, which would be opened by the adjacent Deep Ellum beer bar). A poster on the Chowhound site mentions that it appears Bubble Berry may be featuring frozen yogurt and bubble tea.
At this point, there doesn't appear to be a specific opening date for Bubble Berry; as soon as we get more information, we will post an update here.
