Boloco Is Opening at Atlantic Wharf

A small local chain of restaurants that features burritos is going to be opening a new location, with this one being on the Boston waterfront.

According to their Twitter page, Boloco is planning to open a new branch at Atlantic Wharf, a new complex that is situated between the Fort Point Channel and the Rose Kennedy Greenway just north of South Station. There does not appear to be an exact opening date as of yet, but it should be very soon, as it looks like they had been hoping to open the new location this month.

Boloco, which first started out in 1997, offers such items as burritos, salads, wraps, smoothies, and shakes. A number of locations can be found in Boston, including on Congress Street, Pearl Street, and Federal Street in the Financial District, School Street in Downtown Crossing, Park Plaza near Boston Common, Boylston Street and Newbury Street in the Back Bay, Huntington Avenue near Northeastern University, Longwood Avenue in the medical area, and Beacon Street in Brighton. Locations can also be found in Cambridge, Natick, Concord, NH, Hanover, NH, and Burlington, VT. (A branch in Medford will be closing later this fall.)

[December 14 update: According to Eater Boston, the new Boloco at Atlantic Wharf is now open.]
