It appears that more restaurants may be on the way to Burlington, as three dining spots are being proposed for an upscale shopping center.
The Burlington Patch reports that Bonefish Grille, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, and Seasons 52 might be opening at Wayside Commons, which is just south of the intersection of Routes 128/95 and Routes 3/3A. The article mentions that Bonefish Grille would move into the current Ginger Pad space, Potbelly would go into the current Fresh City spot, and Seasons 52 would go into the second-floor location of the now-closed Borders bookstore space.
Bonefish Grille is a Florida-based chain that features seafood, while the Chicago-based Potbelly Sandwich Shop (which is also opening a location at Logan Airport in East Boston) offers a variety of sandwiches website. Seasons 52 is a higher-end eatery and wine bar based in Florida that focuses on seasonal dishes and New American fare.
If all goes as planned, Bonefish Grille and Potbelly Sandwich Shop may be opening later this year, with Seasons 52 taking a bit longer to open because the space requires "more extensive work."
The address for Wayside Commons is 2 Wayside Road, Burlington, MA, 01803.
