According to their website, Mei Mei Street Kitchen is planning to be up and running sometime next week, with the truck being stationed at several different spots around the city. The truck will be offering Chinese street food dishes made with locally sourced, sustainable ingredients, with such items as handmade braised beef dumplings with red wine and cheese, macaroni and cheese with Chinese spiced pork, and steamed pork belly bun with crispy crackling, seasonal pickles, sesame chili aioli and local apple hoisin sauce.
It appears that Mei Mei Street Kitchen will be stationed at Stuart Street (behind the Hancock tower) Monday through Thursday, as well as Boylston Street by the Boston Public Library on Wednesdays; BU East on Comm. Ave. by Morse Auditorium on Thursdays and Saturdays; Hemenway Street and Forsyth Street by the MFA, and 220 Clarendon Street at Boylston Street on Fridays; and Cleveland Circle on Sundays (these locations are tentative at this point).
