Midtown Smokehouse and Grill in Needham Has Closed

It looks like a barbecue restaurant in Needham has closed its doors after being in business for less than a year.

According to a poster on the Chowhound site, Midtown Smokehouse and Grill on Great Plain Avenue appears to be shuttered, and a phone call placed to the business seems to confirm this, as their number has been disconnected. Midtown Smokehouse and Grill in Needham first opened last October, replacing Village Fish, a seafood restaurant that was owned by the same folks. The BBQ spot offered such dishes as catfish bites, fried pickles, blackened kielbasa, pulled pork, brisket, smoked chicken, mahi tacos, Texas beef ribs, and house-made sausage.

The address for this now-closed BBQ joint in Needham was: Midtown Smokehouse and Grill, 970 Great Plain Avenue, Needham, MA, 02492.
