Descent in Boston's W Hotel Has Closed for a "Re-Invigoration"

A cocktail lounge located below a hotel in the Theatre District of Boston has closed after being in business for a little more than a year, and it isn't known at this point what will be opening in its space.

The Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry is reporting that Descent is no longer in operation, as it has been shuttered for what the W Bostom Hotel calls a "re-invigoration." The blog mentions that a reopening will take place sometime in 2013, but there is no word on whether it will still be called Descent (the Twitter page and website for Descent are no longer in operation).

Descent, which first opened in November of 2011, was a sleek and modern drinking spot that featured handcrafted cocktails and dancing.
