Broadway Diner in Arlington Has Closed

A diner in a northwest suburb of Boston has closed after being in business for a bit less than seven years.

A check on the restaurant yesterday confirmed that the Broadway Diner in Arlington is no longer in business, as its windows are papered over and there is a sign out front saying that the building is "available." The diner's Facebook page confirms its closure, with a note on October 19 saying that "It's almost that time when we have to say good bye." There have been rumors going around over the past several months that the Broadway Diner could possibly move to another location, but no indication of this has been given on its Facebook page.

The Broadway Diner first opened in early 2007, replacing a Middle Eastern eatery called the Olive Branch. Years ago, the space was home to a Dairy Queen as well.

The address for this now-closed diner in Arlington was: Broadway Diner, 117 Broadway, Arlington, MA, 02474.
