Eater Boston is reporting (via an article in The Boston Globe and a post in The Somerville Journal) that Aeronaut Brewing Company is looking to open on Tyler Street, which is a short distance west of Union Square (south of Somerville Avenue). The folks behind the brewery are looking to do a rebrand from TBD Brewing, a small homebrew operation based in Union Square, with the proposed Aeronaut operating out of a 12,000-square-foot warehouse. If all goes well and they receive the needed permits from the state, the new brewery could be up and running sometime in the early spring.

Somerville hasn't seen a brewery in its city since the 1880s, according to The Somerville Journal.
