Shawarma Falafel Opens in Downtown Boston

A new Middle Eastern restaurant has come to downtown Boston, opening in the spot where three other eateries have been over the past few years.

According to a poster on the Chowhound site, Shawarma Falafel is now open on Province Street, moving into the space where Cafe Province had been, and before that, Bella Drew's Cafe and Chacarero (locations of Chacarero can still be found on nearby Arch Street as well as at the Prudential Center). Based on information from the Yelp page for the dining spot, it appears that Shawarma Falafel offers such items as shawarma and falafel (of course) as well as grape leaves, hummus, and couscous.

It appears that Shawarma Falafel first opened in late December.

The address for this new Middle Eastern restaurant in downtown Boston is: Shawarma Falafel, 26 Province Street, Boston, MA, 02108.
