Mr. Sushi in Brookline Has Closed

A Brookline restaurant has shut its doors after being in business for nearly 30 years.

According to a poster on the Chowhound site. Mr. Sushi on Harvard Street is papered over with work being done to the space, while a post on the restaurant's Facebook page shows a sign out front saying "We are closing business on October 31st 2015--thanks to all our loyal customers and community." Other posts on social media indicate that the dining spot is indeed closed, though no one seems to know the reason why it is no longer open. A check on the Arlington location of Mr. Sushi this morning shows that the tables are set up for diners and it appears to remain in operation.

Mr. Sushi first opened in the late 1980s, offering a variety of sushi along with noodle dishes, Japanese entrees, and some Korean items.

The address for this now-closed restaurant in Brookline was: Mr. Sushi, 329 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA, 02446.
