Red Robin to Open in Woburn

It looks like a Seattle-based chain of gourmet burger restaurants is going to be opening another location in the area.

According to a job listing within the Craigslist site, Red Robin is planning to open in Woburn, with a map shown in the post indicating that it could be opening somewhere in the downtown area (this has not been confirmed as of yet). Once it opens, this will be the second location of the chain in the immediate Boston area, with the other being at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree. (Other locations in the region can be found in Foxboro, Plymouth, Wareham, Millbury, Salem, NH, Nashua, NH, and Warwick, RI.)

Red Robin was established in 1969 and today is known for its array of burgers along with clam chowder, chili, chicken sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, and more. Its website is at http://www.redrobin.com/

[May 12 update: A Facebook post indicates that the new Red Robin in Woburn hopes to open in October, though no address for the place has been given as of yet.]

[October 12 update: A source tells us that Red Robin in Woburn is getting close to opening and that it will be at 369 Washington Street, with this address being confirmed by the chain's site.]
