A local chain of restaurants has closed one of its locations.
A message sent from the company indicates that Not Your Average Joe's in Medford closed at the end of business hours yesterday, as its lease was coming to an end and it decided not to renew. The message did say that all employees at the Station Landing location have been offered positions at other outlets. The Medford restaurant had been in business since 2006.
Other locations of Not Your Average Joe's can be found in Acton, Arlington, Beverly, Burlington, Dartmouth, Hyannis, Methuen, Needham. Newburyport, Norwell, Randolph, Seekonk, Waltham, Watertown, Westborough, and Westwood, along with a handful of outlets in New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
