SoulFire in Allston Is Closing

One of Boston's best-known BBQ spots is shutting down.

Vanyaland is reporting that SoulFire in Allston closes its doors for good this Friday (January 20), with the restaurant possibly being replaced by a Korean eatery, though this has not been confirmed as of yet. The announcement of SoulFire's closure comes exactly a week after we reported that its other location in the Brigham Circle/Mission Hill section of Boston had shuttered; it is not yet known what might be going into that space.

SoulFire, which first opened in Allston a bit more than a decade ago, is known for such items as brisket, wings, ribs, pulled pork, and fried chicken.

The address for this soon-to-close BBQ joint in Allston is: SoulFire, 182 Harvard Avenue, Allston, MA, 02134.
