Lanes & Games Building in Cambridge Being Demolished

by Marc Hurwitz

A Cambridge landmark that shut down for good over the summer is officially disappearing from the landscape this week.

According to a Twitter post from @Spedmunki, Lanes & Games on Route 2 is in the process of coming down, with another tweet from @boxofbacon showing the structure being demolished. The complex--which featured bowling, pool, video games, food, and drink--closed in August after more than 30 years in business, with the site eventually becoming home to an apartment complex.

The address for the Lanes & Games site is 195 Concord Turnpike, Cambridge, MA, 02140.
