Armenian Food Festival and Bazaar Coming to Watertown, November 4-5, 2011

A food festival and bazaar featuring an array of Armenian foods is coming to East Watertown in early November.

According to the St. Stephen's Armenian Apostolic Church website, the 55th annual St Stephen's Church Bazaar will take place on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5 from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM at the Armenian Cultural and Educational Center on Nichols Avenue, with a huge selection of baked goods, gourmet items, and hot meals available. Some of the items offered at the festival will include choreg (Armenian sweet bread), salads, pahklava, spinach and cheese beoregs, tourshi (pickled vegetables), yalanchi (grape leaves), string cheese, shish kebab, rice pilaf, and much more. In addition to food, the bazaar will also feature arts and crafts along with live and silent auctions.
