Highlights for the Week Ending December 16, 2011

Several more stories focusing on the Boston-area restaurant scene came out over the past week, including the closing of a casual South End restaurant, an oceanfront restaurant being put up for sale, and an OpenTable list of best 2011 restaurants including two Boston spots. In addition, our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants) had a transcript of a recent online discussion, an updated list of December closings/openings in the Boston area, and a photo of a dish from a Winchester diner.
