According to a source, New England Craft Restaurant Concepts is opening Craft Table & Bar in the Porter Street space where Ecco had been until late June, with the new place being a "polished" casual restaurant that features mostly classic and modern American fare along with a variety of beer, wine, and spirits options. The group behind the new spot is also opening a location of Craft Table & Bar in Worcester as well, along with several Brew on the Grid coffee shops in the Greater Boston area.
Ecco, which opened a bit less than 10 years ago, was known in part for its New American dishes and its cocktails.
