The Brook Kitchen and Tap in Maynard Has Closed

by Marc Hurwitz

A pair of restaurants and bars connected to a local group of dining and drinking spots is down to just one, as its newer location has shut down.

A Twitter post from @maynardbrewer stated that it appeared the Maynard location of The Brook Kitchen and Tap was closing, with a phone call to the Main Street spot confirming that yesterday was indeed its last day in business and that the space has been sold. (It appears that the original location of The Brook in Holbrook remains in operation.) Both locations of The Brook were new concepts from The Halfway Cafe team, which continues to operate restaurants in Dedham, Marlborough, and Watertown.

The Brook first opened in Maynard in January of 2017, replacing a location of The Halfway Cafe.

The address for the now-closed location of The Brook Kitchen and Tap in Maynard was 51 Main Street, Maynard, MA, 01754. The website for the Holbrook location can be found at http://www.brookkitchenandtap.com/
