An Arlington-based bakery that opened its own shop in Cambridge early last year has shut down for good.
According to a post from Eater Boston, Brit Bakery on Concord Avenue is no longer in operation, with a note on its website saying "We are sad to announce that Brit Bakery is now permanently closed. We thank you for the love and support and wish you the best." The business, which had been known for its pop-ups at The Local Fare in East Arlington, debuted its Cambridge shop in January of 2019, offering such items as cakes, cupcakes, scones, tarts, cookies, and breads.
The address for the now-closed Brit Bakery was 407 Concord Avenue, Cambridge, MA, 02138.
