It looks like a Somerville bakery is saying farewell.
According to a Facebook post, 7ate9 Bakery on Highland Avenue is closing down, with a comment within the thread showing a photo of a note that says the following:
After 12 years in business, and 8 years on Highland Ave. I am sad to say that we are closing the doors on this chapter of 7ate9 Bakery. We will be open Friday-Sunday until we have sold all of our inventory, through the end of March 2023.
Sarah Chester, who first opened the 7ate9 Bakery store in 2015, had previously sold her cheesecakes and other treats at farmers markets before setting up shop in the Highland Avenue storefront.
