Dumpling Cafe Opens on the Edge of Boston's Chinatown

A new restaurant has opened on the western edge of Boston's Chinatown neighborhood, and its focus is on Chinese and Taiwanese food, including dumplings and buns.

According to the eatery's menu, Dumpling Cafe on Washington Street features dumplings such as beef and cabbage, pork and leek, and Taiwan style fried dumplings, as well as mini steamed buns with pork and mini juicy buns with pork and crabmeat. The rest of the menu includes soups (including braised soups), noodle dishes (with both Taiwan and Shanghai style offered), fried rice dishes, beef, chicken, and pork entrees, several vegetarian plates, and various entrees and chef's specials. Dumpling Cafe also offers combination plates for 2-3 people, with such options being a tilapia set meal and a dungeness crab meal.
