Beantown Pub Owners Plan to Open a New Restaurant in Boston's Beacon Hill Neighborhood

If all goes as planned, an American restaurant may be coming to the Beacon Hill section of Boston, and the people behind it also happen to own a watering hole near Boston Common.

According to Boston.com, the group behind the Beantown Pub on Tremont Street are looking to open a new restaurant on Cambridge Street (across from Massachusetts General Hospital) where The Spotted Apron bakery and cafe used to be. The article mentions that the Beacon Hill Civic Association heard about the plans for the new eatery last night, and that the restaurant is currently trying to receive a wine, malt beverage, and cordials license from the city's licensing board. If the new as-of-yet unnamed dining spot does open, expect classic American dishes including rotisserie-style meat options, according to Boston.com.

If/when the restaurant opens, the address for it would be 326 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA, 02114.
