A bar in Boston's Financial District that was forced to move into a new location a few years ago may have to move once again, and if it does it will be for the same reason.
According to The Boston Herald, The Littlest Bar, which is located on Broad Street, is looking at an uncertain future because a local developer has plans to build an upscale condominium complex where it currently resides. Back in 2006, The Littlest Bar had to move out of its Province Street home (where it had been since 1945) because the landlord wanted to build condos at that spot. The bar eventually opened in its present-day Broad Street location in the fall of 2008.
The article mentions that plans for the space include a ground-floor restaurant as well as an outdoor cafe, but no word has been given as to whether The Littlest Bar (or the neighboring Times Irish Pub & Restaurant) will definitely be forced to leave.
The address for this bar in the Financial District of Boston is: The Littlest Bar, 102 Broad Street, Boston, MA, 02110.
