Highlights for the Week Ending September 23, 2011

A number of stories concerning the Boston-area restaurant scene hit last week, including the temporary closing of a landmark restaurant on the way, the upcoming opening of a new BBQ joint, and OpenTable's picks for top foodie restaurants.
