A brick-oven pizza restaurant that will feature wood-fired pies as well as grilled meats is on its way to Waltham.
According to a post on Brand New Watch (the blog for Wicked Local Waltham), Charcoal Guido's is planning to open on Moody Street in the winter of 2012, taking over the vacant space between Habanero's and Tempo. The article mentions that the upcoming eatery will offer Neapolitan-style thin-crust pizza in addition to chicken, lamb, and sausage cooked on the grill. Charcoal Guido's will be a sit-down restaurant, with a capacity of at least 50, and it will have a full liquor license.
