It looks like a new restaurant may be on its way to the Fort Point district of Boston, and this could be the one of the only eateries in the immediate area to have outdoor dining.
According to the Boston Redevelopment Authority news blog, a proposal to renovate a warehouse building on Congress Street includes plans for housing units as well as a possible 6,000 square foot restaurant that would have 1,200 square feet of space for an outdoor patio. A Boston Globe article mentions that Berkeley Investments Inc. gained approval from city regulators last week for this project, though it does not give any indication as to a starting date or an end date to the renovations. Also, at this point in time, the restaurant does not have a name.
The address for this proposed restaurant would be 381 Congress Street, Boston, MA, 02210.
