Three folks who are a big part of the Boston restaurant scene are adding something new to their resumes; they becoming bloggers for one of the city's major newspapers.
According to The Boston Herald, Roger Berkowitz (Legal Sea Foods CEO/president), Lydia Shire (chef/co-owner of Scampo and culinary director at Towne Stove and Spirits), and Domingo-Martin Barreres (master mixologist at Market by Jean-Georges) are going to be writing for the paper's Forklift blog. The article states that Berkowitz will post behind-the-scenes articles about the restaurant industry along with some recipes, while Shire will also post recipes and Barreres will "share his award-winning secrets" on craft cocktails.
The Herald's newest bloggers have already started writing, with three of their posts being found below:
My Food Vice by Roger Berkowitz
Holiday Appetizers from Lydia Shire
The Ultimate Holiday Drink by Domingo-Martin Barreres
Other Forklift bloggers include Kerry Byrne, Mary Ann Esposito, Sara Gaynes, and Laura Raposa.
