The people behind several vegetarian food trucks and a couple of brick-and-mortar restaurants in the Boston area are going to be opening a new location, with this one being on one of the city's most well-known streets.
The Boston Business Journal reports that Clover Food Lab is planning to open a little sidewalk cafe at 354 Newbury Street on the back side of the Hynes subway station, which is just east of the Massachusetts Avenue intersection. The article mentions that the space, which is 275 square feet in size, will be serving breakfast and lunch, though based on the artist rendering shown, it appears that the new Clover spot will likely have very little seating (perhaps just one outdoor table). Expect Clover to open on Newbury Street sometime this spring, according to the article.
Clover has trucks at MIT in Cambridge, City Hall Plaza and Dewey Square in downtown Boston, the SoWa Open Market in the South End, and others at Boston University and Longwood, as well as permanent restaurants in Cambridge's Inman Square (where their headquarters are) and Harvard Square.
