Stephi's in Southie to Open in South Boston

The folks behind a trendy and upscale restaurant in Boston's Back Bay (and a second spot in the South End) are planning to open a third place, with this one being in South Boston.

Boston.com is reporting that Stephanie's on Newbury will be opening a restaurant on West Broadway, moving into the space near the Broadway T stop where The Quiet Man pub used to be. It appears that the new name may be Stephanie's as well, though we are still trying to confirm this (their other restaurant on Tremont Street in the South End has a slightly different name--Stephi's on Tremont). The article mentions that the new spot will be open for lunch and dinner (with brunch on weekends), and it could be open by April of 2013.

Stephanie's on Newbury first opened in 1994, while Stephi's on Tremont opened in 2009. Both dining spots focus on upscale comfort food.
