Coco's Lounge Takes Over Former Old Stag Tavern Space in Jamaica Plain

A new dining and drinking spot has opened in the Egleston Square section of Jamaica Plain, moving into the space where a dive bar used to be.

Eater Boston reports that Coco's Lounge is now open on Washington Street, taking over the former Old Stag Tavern spot. Based on reviews from the Yelp site, Coco's offers food (unlike the Old Stag), and it appears that the new spot is nicer in appearance than the Old Stag, which had issues concerning cleanliness and noise.
