Cobblestone Cafe Is Opening in Boston's North End

The person behind three dining spots in the North End of Boston is going to be opening a fourth, with this one being in the space where another restaurant had been until closing last month.

Eater Boston is reporting (via NorthEndWaterfront.com) that Cobblestone Cafe is looking to open on Hanover Street, taking over the former Hot Tomatoes Express site. The two articles say that the owner of the upcoming eatery is Carla Gomes, who also runs Antico Forno, Cafe Lil Italy, and Terramia, all of which are located on nearby Salem Street. Cobblestone Cafe plans to serve casual fare such as salads, sandwiches, and kabobs, with takeout being the focus (10 seats are planned for the place) and breakfast, lunch, and dinner apparently offered.

[April 30 update: The Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog states that Cobblestone Cafe is now open.]

The address for this new restaurant in the North End is: Cobblestone Cafe, 227 Hanover Street, Boston, MA, 02113.
