According to several sources who emailed us and posted to our Twitter page, Hot Tomatoes Express on Hanover Street is shuttered, with a "closed" sign out front and the interior apparently cleared out. The original North End location of Hot Tomatoes (on North Street) closed in the spring of 2010, then reopened as more of a takeout spot in its new location last fall. Eater Boston mentions that their downtown location on Bedford Street closed in June.
The address for this now-closed dining spot in the North End was: Hot Tomatoes Express, 227 Hanover Street, Boston, MA, 02113.
