Coogan's in Boston Updates Menu, Focuses on Burgers and Hot Dogs

An Irish pub in Boston's Financial District that has been around for a couple of decades appears to have undergone a slight name change--and it has made some big changes to its menu.

A check on their website indicates that Coogan's Bluff is now simply known as "Coogan's," while Thrillist reports that the Milk Street spot has updated its menu so that it now focuses on burgers and hot dogs. A peek at the menu on their website shows that Coogan's offers 14 specialty burgers, including a "Water Taxi" (tuna, Napa cabbage, red curry paste, soy tarter sauce) and a "Black Rose" (cheddar, Irish bacon, cabbage, Guinness ketchup), along with 4 hot dog options, including a "Pork n Pork" (bacon wrapped, pulled pork, slaw) and a "Long Wharf (fried clams, chili relish). Soups, salads, appetizers, and sides are also available.

The address for this restaurant and pub in the Financial District is: Coogan's, 171 Milk Street, Boston, MA, 02109. Their website can be found at http://www.coogansboston.com/
