A License Commission General Hearing page within the City of Cambridge website indicates that an application for a common victualer license will be looked at for Tisan Coffee, which has tentative plans to open on Cambridge Street (about midway between Inman Square and the Lechmere area). If approved, the spot would possibly serve both food and non-alcoholic beverages, with a seating capacity of 11 being proposed. It also appears that the coffee place would be open from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM seven days per week, according to the hearing page.
[June 2, 2014 update: According to a post within a new License Commission General Hearing page on the Cambridge website, it now appears that Tisan Coffee is looking to open at 1722 Massachusetts Avenue, which is a few blocks south of Porter Square.]
