The Brookline TAB is reporting that Sealey's Lunch on Cypress Street will shut down tomorrow (closing at 12:00 PM then reopening at 2:00 PM for pastries and coffee), as co-owner Sophie Vessiropoulos is selling the eatery to someone who made a "substantial offer." The dining spot, which is known as a place to get reasonably-priced breakfast and lunch items, has a history that "goes back at least 100 years," according to the article, when it had been an ice cream stand.
It is not yet known what will be moving into the Sealey's space, so keep checking back for updates.
