Captain Jackson's Colonial Chocolate Shop Is Opening in Boston's North End

A chocolate shop is opening in the North End of Boston, and its location is a rather interesting one.

The Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog is reporting (via Northendwaterfront.com) that Captain Jackson's Colonial Chocolate Shop opens for business starting tomorrow within the Old North Church campus, with the store apparently residing in the Clough House on Unity Street, which is behind the church. The article says that the shop will offer chocolate made from an "authentic colonial-style" recipe and demonstrations will be given on how chocolate was made (and consumed) around the time of the American Revolution.

A post on the Old North Church Facebook page indicates that Captain Jackson's Colonial Chocolate Shop will open at 11:00 AM tomorrow.

Thanks to Grub Street Boston for bringing this to our attention.
