Grub Street Boston is reporting that a second Food Truck Throwdown will be held on the Rose Kennedy Greenway on Saturday, May 4 beginning at 11:00 AM, with a number of competitors participating. As was the case last fall, the event will pit Boston trucks against New York trucks, with Grub Street saying that Bon Me, Captain Marden's Cod Squad, Chubby Chickpea, Cookie Monstah, Kickass Cupcakes, Mei Mei Street Kitchen, Paris Creperie, Pennypackers, and Roxy's Grilled Cheese will face off against Big D's Grub, Chinese Mirch, Mike & Willie's, Munchie Mobile, Nuchas, and Uncle Gussy's, with others being announced soon.
Admission to the 2013 Food Truck Throwdown is free, though cash will be needed for food items. For more information, please go to the following link:
