Bon Me and The Blue Room to Host a Picnic Dinner on Boston's Rose Kennedy Greenway, July 31, 2013

Last summer, the folks behind a Boston-based Vietnamese food truck (and now, a restaurant in Cambridge's Kendall Square as well) teamed up with area dining spots to host pop-up picnic dinners on the Rose Kennedy Greenway in downtown Boston. The picnics are about to continue, with a new pop-up scheduled for the end of the month.

On Wednesday, July 31, Bon Me will partner with The Blue Room in Kendall Square to have a pop-up picnic by the Rings Fountain on the greenway, with the dinner going from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The menu will feature the following:

-- 1970s Chicken Galantine with Modern Farm Slaw (The Blue Room)
-- Chilled Cucumber Soup Shooter (Bon Me)
-- Bon Me Sandwich with Sweet and Spicy Chinese Sausage (Bon Me and The Blue Room)
-- Forbidden Rice Pudding (The Blue Room)
