Francesca's Cafe in the South End Is Closing

A dining spot in Boston's South End is shutting its doors after being in business for nearly 20 years.

A Twitter message sent from BosGuy--along with a post from the site--indicates that Francesca's Cafe on Tremont Street is closing, with the message mentioning that the place's last day in operation was Sunday. Francesca's was a casual spot that featured items such as soups, salads, sandwiches, pastries, ice cream, coffee, and tea, along with some breakfast items.

There is no word at this point on whether Francesca's Cafe might open in another location, according to BosGuy.

The address for this now-closed eatery in the South End was: Francesca's Cafe, 564 Tremont Street, Boston, MA, 02118.
