Cuffs in Boston's Back Bay Is Closing; New Bar to Take Its Place

An Irish pub within a Back Bay hotel is going to be closing, with a new bar taking its place.

An email sent to us indicates that Cuffs, which is in the Loews Hotel on Stuart Street, will be shuttering on December 17, making way for a new dining and drinking establishment that plans to open in the spring of 2014. To thank customers for their loyalty over the years, Cuffs will be serving cocktails for $10 and 16-ounce beers for $5.00 from now until the place closes, along with nightly specials from the old menu that will be offered at original prices. [Note: Some of this info comes from a Twitter post.]

The changes that are coming are part of a renovation of the hotel, according to the note.

The address for Cuffs (and the Loews Hotel) is 350 Stuart Street, Boston, MA, 02116. The website for the hotel can be found at http://www.loewshotels.com/en/Boston-Hotel/
