According to an article in BostInno, John Pepper has resigned from his position at Boloco, with the resignation taking place last month. The article mentions that a letter sent to folks at Boloco says that this was "the result of the termination of a deal between Boloco's current ownership and its new investors," with the deal falling apart at the last minute because "the two parties could not resolve their different views regarding control of the company." Despite the fact that Pepper (who is a co-founder of Boloco) is no longer the CEO, he remains optimistic that it will remain a strong company that is a good place to work.
It is not yet known what future projects John Pepper might be undertaking, but a quote within the article states that as far as Boloco is concerned, he will be "supporting from the sidelines," with the article saying that he could be an "owner, possible board member and chairman."
Locations of the Boloco chain can be found in Boston, Brighton, Cambridge, Lynnfield, Natick, Wellesley, Warwick, RI, Concord, NH, Hanover, NH, Burlington, VT, Bethesda, MD, and Washington, DC. Their website is at http://boloco.com/
