A food truck that focused on burgers may be calling it a day--at least for now.
According to a Facebook post from the truck, Bone Daddy's Burgers is apparently going to be shutting down, with the note saying that "After a long struggle & a cold hard winter, Bone Daddy's Burgers will be closing! We tried to make it work & believe me, we tried but it just isn't in the cards right now!" It appears that there is a chance the closure might not be permanent, as the note ends by saying "who knows, we may just roll the old Heavy Metal beast out down the road again!"
[March 19 update: Another post on its Facebook page indicates that the Bone Daddy's Burgers truck will continue to be in operation through the end of March, and it is also asking for funds to remain open beyond that via the gofundme site.]
[March 31 update: It looks like today could indeed the last day for Bone Daddy's--at least for now--though its Facebook page continues to post about its fundraising efforts. If the truck does reopen, we will post another update here.]
[June 25 update: The Bone Daddy's Burgers will remain open (more info will be coming on this).]
Bone Daddy's Burgers first started out in the spring of 2013, offering burgers with a variety of toppings as well as hot dogs, veggie burgers, and chicken burgers as well as fries, lemonade, and iced tea.
The website for Bone Daddy's Burgers (and Brother Trucker, which is behind the truck) can be found at http://www.brothertrucker.biz/
